Role Description:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Videographer to capture high-quality footage of horses as they complete their rounds during an equestrian competition. This role is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to gain valuable experience in sports or action videography, particularly in an outdoor setting.

Key Responsibilities:

Film individual horse rounds with precision and attention to detail.
Ensure smooth, steady, and well-framed shots that clearly capture rider and horse movements.
Set up and manage video equipment to ensure high-quality footage in various lighting and weather conditions.
Perform ad hoc duties and collaborate with other departments as needed.

Ring Crew - September

Thunderbird Show Park is seeking reliable and safety-focused Ring Crew Members to support the smooth operation of our horse shows throughout the season. Ring Crew play a critical role in maintaining competition arenas, building and adjusting courses, and ensuring a safe environment for athletes.

This hands-on role involves working closely with Course Designers and staff to build and maintain jumps, manage arena footing, and assist with course changes during live competition. Applicants must be physically able to lift and move heavy objects such as rails and standards, work on their feet for extended periods, and be comfortable working outdoors in all types of weather. Ideal candidates are team-oriented, attentive to detail, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced event environment.

Thunderbird Show Park is seeking reliable and hardworking General Maintenance Workers to support day-to-day operations across the park. This role assists with general repairs, facility upkeep, and the delivery of feed and bedding to ensure the property remains safe, functional, and event-ready throughout the season.

This is a hands-on position requiring physical work, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Applicants must be comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions and assisting with a variety of maintenance and labour tasks as needed. This role reports to the Maintenance Supervisor.

Hospitality Team

Thunderbird Show Park (tbird) is seeking friendly, reliable Hospitality Workers to support our VIP and officials’ hospitality during our world-class hunter and jumper competitions. This role plays an important part in delivering a polished, welcoming experience for riders, sponsors, and officials throughout the show season.

Responsibilities include setting up and maintaining hospitality areas, assisting with food and beverage service, keeping spaces clean and well-stocked, and providing attentive, professional service in a fast-paced event environment. Successful candidates are positive, detail-oriented, and able to work on their feet while representing tbird’s high standards of hospitality and guest experience.
